How does this automation work?
Bardeen brings LinkedIn and Notion together, enabling you to easily transfer LinkedIn profile data into a Notion database. This automation is perfect for talent sourcing, market research, and sales prospecting, helping you to compile valuable data without manual copy-pasting. By enriching your Notion database with LinkedIn profiles, you can accelerate your research and outreach processes, and make more informed decisions.
Here is how this workflow works:
- Scrape LinkedIn Profile: Bardeen uses the Scraper tool to extract data from the LinkedIn profile currently active in your browser. This scraped data will be used to create a new page in your Notion database.
- Create Notion Page: Bardeen creates a new page in your chosen Notion database using the LinkedIn data scraped in the previous step. Notion is an all-in-one workspace where you can write, plan, collaborate and get organized - it allows you to take notes, add tasks, manage projects & more.
How to run the playbook
With hundreds of millions of profiles from around the world, LinkedIn is undoubtedly one of the best platforms if you want to access a large pool of qualified professionals, investors, or candidates for your company.
And with the help of this automation, you can save any profile to a Notion database with one click and build your own LinkedIn database.

Here is how it works in 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Create a Notion database to store the data
The first step is to create your Notion database with the properties you want to store. You can name these fields however you like.
Alternatively, you can duplicate our pre-built databases from here.
Bardeen will extract information from the currently opened tab and get profile information like name, profile link, summary, education details, current position, and more.
Step 2: Run the playbook and choose your database
Click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to get this automation saved to your Playbooks.
Now you can navigate to a LinkedIn profile page and click on the Bardeen extension icon.
Click on the playbook card, and the setup flow will start.
You will be asked to select a Notion database. Choose the database you created in step #1. You will get a prompt to map the information to your database in Notion.
The left side consists of all the fields Bardeen will scrape for you. On the right side, specify the fields in Notion that you want to associate with the information on the left. If you don’t want a piece of information, leave that field empty, and it will be skipped. That’s it!
Click on “Save Input” and checkmark Airtable. You can Edit Inputs later by covering over the playbook.
Step 3: Run the automation to copy Linkedin profile to a Notion database
When you come across an attractive profile, activate Bardeen (or hit OPTİON + B) and run this playbook. The information will be saved in your Notion database automatically.
