Save LinkedIn profile to Airtable

Save LinkedIn profile data to Airtable

Now, you can browse around LinkedIn and save interesting people to your Airtable in just one click.

This playbook is incredible for prospecting leads, investors, speakers, and hires.

Here are the LinkedIn fields we will scrape:

If you want to scrape different fields, you can always create your custom scraper with this guide.

This particular playbook is unique because of Airtable’s APIs. To make it work, we will need to:

  1. Connect Airtable integration correctly
  2. Define column names inside Airtable with ninja precision 🥷

All-in-all, you should be all set in a couple of minutes.

Step #1: Connect Airtable

When you click on the Airtable card to start the integration process, the following window will appear:

You will need two things:

  • API Key
  • Base ID

Get API Key

Account > Generate API Key

API Key Example: key7MythMnFeideEr

Get Base ID

To get your base ID, you will need to go to the Airtable API page (yes, click it).

Then, pick your workspace.

Now, grab the green string of text.

Base ID Example: appYVoc13301zvzmJ

❗️Make sure it does NOT include the trailing dot (.).

That’s it!

Step #2: Define the Column Names

Airtable will accept our data only if it matches the column names precisely.

All you need to do is give Airtable columns these exact names:

  • Name
  • Headline
  • Description
  • Job Title
  • Company
  • Education
  • URL

Also, you must name your table “LinkedIn”

⚠️ READ THIS: You need to set the column and table names EXACTLY! as they are above. Otherwise, it won’t work! YES, it is case sensitive.

Use the Playbook

That’s the best part. Now, it takes one click to save LinkedIn profile data to your Airtable.
