How does this automation work?
When you're in back-to-back meetings, effective and timely communication with event participants can be challenging. Bardeen automates this process by allowing you to send custom Slack messages to everyone involved in your current Google Calendar event. This helps ensure that everyone is on the same page without manual intervention, saving time and enhancing collaboration.
Here's how this workflow keeps your team connected:
- Step 1: Find current event - Bardeen determines the current event from your Google Calendar to identify the participants that need to be messaged on Slack.
- Step 2: Identify Slack users - It then locates the Slack profiles associated with the participants' email addresses from the current event.
- Step 3: Send Slack messages - Finally, Bardeen sends a personal Slack message to each participant. You can customize the message to provide updates, reminders or follow-ups related to the event.
How to run the playbook
This playbook allows you to send a Slack message to the current event participants.
The playbook finds the emails of the Google Calendar event and matches them with the Slack user emails.
💡 Current event definition: if the meeting runs from 13:00-13:30, we will show it as the current meeting from 13:00:00-13:29:59.

You can create a Bardeen Playbook to scrape data from a website and then send that data as an email attachment.
Yes. Since Bardeen lives on your browser, Playbooks like "Enrich Linkedin links from a Google Sheet" open the Linkedin profiles in the background and scrape their information. This happens from your currently opened Linkedin account, so people can see you've visited their profile.
For your shared playbook to be updated, you need to unshare your playbook and share it again. This will generate a new link. To do this: 1) Edit the playbook. 2) Unshare it (click on share, then the “unshare” button) 3) Share it again
