GitHub is an excellent platform to find and reach out to great software developers. However, not all profiles have an associated email address. So, what do you do?
You use this automation!
The playbook allows you to send an email to a GitHub user with a shortcut. It magically goes through all of the users’ PRs to find their personal email associated with the account.
The automation has three arguments to input when you run it:
1- GitHub username
2 - Email subject line
3 - Email body text.
To save the email template, checkmark the “Remember Inputs” box and select the email subject and body. This way, you can send the same email to any GitHub user without wasting time typing the email again
💪 Pro tip: Do you want to find a GitHub user’s email address without emailing them? Check out this playbook. It will find any GitHub user's email address, even if they don’t have it listed on their profile.
