Here's how this workflow automates the process of candidate sourcing and outreach:
- Step 1: Scrape LinkedIn Profile - Using the Scraper, Bardeen captures information from the currently opened LinkedIn profile, ensuring you have all the relevant details needed for outreach.
- Step 2: Draft Recruiting Email - OpenAI is utilized to generate a personalized recruiting email, which will resonate with the candidate and increase the likelihood of a positive response.
- Step 3: Find Email Address - Snov.io finds the email address associated with the LinkedIn profile, enabling you to contact the candidate directly.
- Step 4: Merge Candidate Information - Bardeen merges the candidate's name from LinkedIn with additional text to prepare for task creation in Asana.
- Step 5: Create Asana Task - An Asana task is created with the candidate's details and the drafted recruiting email, organizing the recruitment workflow effectively.
- Step 6: Notification of Task Creation - A browser notification is triggered to confirm that the Asana task has been successfully created.
How to run the playbook
Asana is a flexible project management software that recruiters often use to manage candidates, jobs, and hiring timelines. On the other hand, Upwork is a great source to find qualified and eager job seekers. However, creating a new Asana task to track potential candidates can be repetitive and potentially unproductive. Writing recruitment emails for each candidate by hand is also tiring, and mistakes can put off or miss a potential candidate. However, not setting up Asana to manage communications, follow-ups, and potential candidate offers and acceptances can be a significant mistake when dealing with the ever-changing supply and demand of candidates.
This automation will create and fill out an Asana task, along with generating a draft recruiting letter directed to the LinkedIn candidate.

Step 1: Pin the playbook and integrate Asana
First, click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to save this automation. You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate Asana.
Activate Bardeen (or hit OPTİON + B on your keyboard) and click to run the playbook when you have an LinkedIn page open with a selected candidate.
Click on the playbook card, and the setup flow will start.
Step 2: Run the playbook
Open the Bardeen extension (Press Option + B on Mac or Alt + B on a Window machine on your keyboard to launch Bardeen), open the desired LinkedIn candidate page and click “Run Playbook”.
