Step 1: Pin the playbook 

First, click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to save this automation. You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time.

Activate Bardeen (or hit Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboard) and click on the playbook card. The setup flow will start. Bardeen will ask you to enter a LinkedIn profile that you want to connect with, your name, your job role and the topic of conversation. This information will be used to construct your message.

Click on “Save Input” and checkmark LinkedIn. This will save you time from entering the same information each time. For example, you can save your name, job role and company. You can edit Inputs later by hovering over the playbook.

Step 2: Run the playbook and connect with a LinkedIn user to display a message

To connect with a LinkedIn user and display a message, press Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboardto launch Bardeen. Click on the playbook card and enter the LinkedIn profile URL you would like to connect with.

‍

Enter your name, job role, company information and custom message. It will get the first name and last name from the LinkedIn profile and use your information to construct your message. The playbook will then display the message on the screen.

 You can also edit the playbook and add your next action to further customize the automation.
