  • Step 2: Enrich with Clearbit - Once the emails are extracted, they are enriched with additional information using Clearbit, such as social media profiles and company details.
  • Step 3: Retrieve Notion pages - The workflow then locates the Notion database pages where you want to store the enriched contact information.
  • Step 4: Update or add to Notion - Lastly, the enriched data is either added as a new page or used to update an existing page in your Notion database, ensuring your records are always up to date.

How to run the workflow

You've gathered a list of emails for your project or deal, yet, that barely gives you any info. You can either elaborate each contact searching though the web for a long time, or you can automate it with this Playbook.

This playbook will enrich the information from a list of emails and save them to a Notion Database.

This automation's consists of 4 actions:

  1. Find email from text
  2. Get Clearbit's enrichment of email addresses
  3. Find Notion pages
  4. Add or update page in Notion

Step 1: Setup your Notion Contacts Database

First, you will need to set up a Notion database for your contacts. You can create one from scratch or duplicate our template optimized for this use case.

Step 2: Pin the Playbook and set it up

Click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to get this Playbook saved to your playbooks.

Then we need to map data from Google Calendar to Notion.

To do this, hover over the playbook card and “Open Playbook in Builder.”

From here, customize the “Action 4: Update or Add Notion page” action. Enter your Notion database and map the data fields using “custom field mapping.”

On Default, this autobook maps data from the contact's "Name", "Position", "Twitter", "Linkedin", "Facebook", "Followers", and "Picture". You can customize it to get the fields you need from Clearbit.

Save the Playbook and close the builder.

Step 3: Run the Playbook

Click on the Playbook card to activate it and watch the magic happen!

💡Pro Tip: You can also get a contact's Company information though Clearbit's data enrichment, like the company's Website, Linkedin, Employee count, etc. If this information is valuable to you, you can edit the playbook and add an aditional "Add Notion Page" step to save the Company's information.
