How does this automation work?
Bardeen integrates with Twitter, OpenAI, and Google Sheets to help you effectively keep up with the fast-paced world of social media. With this automation, you can extract a Twitter thread, summarize it using OpenAI, and save it to Google Sheets. This automation is a game-changer for social media managers, researchers, and anyone who needs to monitor and analyze Twitter conversations in real-time.
Here is how this workflow works:
- Scrape Twitter Thread: Using the Scraper command, we navigate to the Twitter thread and extract all tweets. The scraper template used is custom-made for Twitter.
- Merge Tweets: All the tweets from the thread are merged into a single text string using a Bardeen command. This step is necessary to feed the tweets into OpenAI for summarization.
- Summarize with OpenAI: The merged tweets are summarized using OpenAI. The context provided to the model indicates that the text is a Twitter thread.
- Scrape Tweet Details: We then scrape the details of the first tweet in the thread using the Scraper. This includes the author's handle, tweet content, and other relevant information.
- Add Data to Google Sheets: The summarized thread and tweet details are added to Google Sheets. This helps in organizing and analyzing Twitter data effectively.
