How does this automation work?
Bardeen connects Google Sheets with a powerful scraper to automate the process of extracting information from Facebook profile pages. This playbook is particularly useful for sourcing data for market research, competitive analysis, or lead generation. By automating this process, you can focus on analyzing the data and making informed decisions, rather than spending time on manual data extraction.
Here is how this workflow works:
- Get table from Google Sheets - Bardeen reads data from a specified Google Sheet. This sheet should contain a list of links to Facebook business pages from which you want to extract information.
- Get table columns - Bardeen then identifies the specific column in the Google Sheet that contains the list of Facebook page links. You'll need to specify the name of this column.
- Find all links in the text - Using a Bardeen built command, all the links in the selected column are identified. These links are the Facebook pages to be scraped.
- Scrape data in the background - Bardeen uses its powerful Scraper to visit each Facebook page and extract the required information. The Scraper works in the background, allowing you to continue with other tasks.
- Add data to Google Sheets - The extracted information is then added to a Google Sheet of your choice. This allows you to easily access and analyze the data.
