How does this automation work?
Bardeen's "Get SERP for a list of keywords in Google Sheets" playbook is designed to automate SEO research for your team. By using this playbook, you will be able to compile a list of articles related to your keywords and store their descriptions, links, and titles in a Google Sheet. This will save your team time on manual SEO research and help you focus on creating content that ranks.
Here is how this workflow works:
- Get table from Google Sheet - Bardeen first reads the content of your Google Sheet, which contains your keywords. This is done using the Google Sheets integration, which allows you to manipulate and extract data from your Google Sheets.
- Get column from table - Bardeen then extracts the column from the table that contains the Google Search Links for your keywords.
- Scrape data in the background - Using the Scraper integration, Bardeen visits each of the Google Search Links and extracts data from them. The Scraper integration is capable of extracting data from almost any website, and in this case, it will be used to extract data related to your keywords.
- Get column from table - Bardeen extracts the column from the table that contains your keywords.
- Create new spreadsheet tab - A new tab is created in your Google Sheet to store the extracted data. The tab will be titled with the keyword used for the search.
- Add data to sheet tab - Finally, the extracted data is added to the new tab in your Google Sheet. This means you will have a new tab in your Google Sheet for each keyword, containing all the extracted data related to that keyword.
This playbook is most useful for those in the personal productivity category who are looking to automate their SEO research process.
