Bardeen's automation playbook assists in capturing valuable contact information from any website directly into your Google Sheets. This is essential for professionals involved in sales prospecting, data sourcing, and marketing efforts, as it saves time by eliminating the need to manually search for and enter data. With this workflow, any visible email addresses and names can be extracted from an open webpage and seamlessly transferred to your spreadsheet, making it easier to build and manage contact lists.

Here's how this workflow simplifies transferring contact information to Google Sheets:

  • Step 1: Extract Contact Information - With the Scraper integration, Bardeen identifies and extracts all email addresses and associated names from the active webpage. It ensures that no manual copy-pasting is required.
  • Step 2: Save to Google Sheets - Data collected from the webpage is then added to a specified Google Sheet and tab. You need to provide the Google Sheet and tab names where the data should be stored.

Let’s set it up!

Step 1: Create your Google Sheet

The first step is to create a Google Sheet with columns called Name and Email.

Bardeen will use an AI web agent to crawl the website and find all email addresses and names associated with the email address. It will then save the information to your Sheet, once the setup is complete.

Step 2: Install the extension and run the playbook

You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate.

Click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to get this automation saved to your Playbooks.

Activate Bardeen (or hit Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboard) and click on the playbook card. The setup flow will start.

You will be asked to enter a Google Sheet spreadsheet to save the information. Enter the Google Sheet you created in Step 1.

Click on “Save Input” and checkmark Google Sheets. You can edit Inputs later by hovering over the playbook.

Step 3: Start saving!

Navigate to the website that you want to find email addresses for.

Activate Bardeen (or hit Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on a Windows machine on your keyboard) and run this playbook. It will start creating a strategy to find the email addresses on the website. You can follow updates in the bottom right corner.

Bardeen will then present you with the results and ask for feedback. If the results are satisfactory, click on “yes” and then submit.

The email addresses will then get saved to your Google Sheets spreadsheet.

The playbook proves invaluable for professionals looking to streamline their contact management. By extracting email addresses and associated names from the currently opened page, it facilitates the creation of organized and up-to-date contact lists, ensuring seamless communication.

For marketers, the automation serves as a game-changer in email marketing efforts. By effortlessly collecting email addresses and corresponding names, marketers can build targeted and personalized campaigns, enhancing engagement and maximizing the impact of their outreach strategies.
