How does this automation work?
Bardeen's Playbook automates the process of organizing important links by extracting them from labeled emails and saving them directly to Google Sheets. This is particularly useful for individuals involved in personal productivity and product development who receive resource links via email and wish to compile them efficiently without manual effort.
Here is how to automate saving links from emails to Google Sheets:
- Step 1: Find labeled emails in Gmail - Bardeen searches through your Gmail for emails with a specific label, which you will need to specify. This step ensures that only the emails of interest are processed.
- Step 2: Extract links from email bodies - After identifying the right emails, Bardeen extracts all links from the body of those emails. This step simplifies the collection of relevant URLs.
- Step 3: Save links to Google Sheets - The extracted links are then added to a Google Sheet of your choice. This step requires you to specify the Google Sheet where the data will be stored. Google Sheets is an online spreadsheet app that lets you create and format spreadsheets and work with other people.
