Credits are the currency that equate to different premium actions and outcomes.
Only premium playbook runs will consume credits. All non-premium playbooks remain available for unlimited usage, free of charge.
Please see the full table of equations below.
Yes, users can upgrade their Business account to buy additional credits for the team.
The cost per credit is the same as on the individual plan.
You can downgrade your plan at any time, but Team Spaces have a minimum credit requirement of 500 to stay active. Any additional credits you purchase can’t be refunded if you choose to downgrade your plan.
If a team member leaves, the system subtracts the $10 cost and 500 credits from the team account. If this occurs within the first 5 users, only the 500 credits are subtracted.
Credits are shared across the team, and there are plans to introduce budget controls (e.g., set budgets per user) in the future.

In a team, either everyone is a free user, or everyone is a premium user, drawing from the same credit bucket.
All users within a team share the same Bardeen Credit Account, along with an associated billing account.

If you see a "Premium⭐" tag in your playbooks, like these:
This doesn't mean you can't continue using that playbook. You can still use it, but it'll now consume credits when you run it.
The "Premium" label shows that it's an Playbook that contains premium actions, which consume Bardeen credits.
In this example, Bardeen will now consume credits when you run deep scraping workflows using the "Scrape data in the background" action.
The free plan offers a 14-day trial with 250 credits to use. You can use as many non-premium features as you like without using credits. If you upgrade to the Pro plan, the credits you purchase will be replenished every month and allotted accordingly.

If you choose to stay with the free plan, you will not be able to run premium automations. To do so, you can upgrade to a paid plan by visiting the pricing page.
The number of credits you spend vary based on how complex your automation is. Typically, a basic automation - like writing or categorizing an email - will use 1 credit. More complicated automations - like exporting data to a CSV - may use multiple credits per line of data. Refer to the table for some common prices.
You can tell which are premium with the "Premium" tag in your playbooks:
The "Premium" label shows that it's a Playbook that contains premium actions, which consumes Bardeen credits. In this example, Bardeen will now consume credits when you run deep scraping workflows using the "Scrape data in the background" action.
Here is an example for autobooks: It runs on time every week and retrieves 10 results from a web page. It costs 1 credit per row processed on scrape data on the background.
For instance:
If the first premium scraper runs over 1 link and scrapes a list of 10 items, that’s 10 credits.
Then, if those 10 items go though the second scraper, and the output is 10 results (single page details for instance), then those are another 10 credits.
The entire autobook would consume 20 credits per trigger.
