- Scrape Google Trends: Bardeen uses the Scraper command to extract data from the currently opened Google Trends 'Trending Now' page. You will need to specify the maximum number of items you wish to extract.
- Add data to Google Sheets: The extracted trends are then added to a Google Sheets spreadsheet. Google Sheets allows you to create, edit, and share spreadsheets, making it easy to access and analyze the data. You will need to specify the Google Sheets document where the data should be added.

Let’s set it up!
Step 1: Pin the playbook and integrate Google Sheets
First, click the “Pin it” button at the top of this page to save this automation. You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate Google Sheets.
Activate Bardeen (or hit Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboard) and click on the playbook card. The setup flow will start. Bardeen will ask you to specify a Google Sheets spreadsheet to save the Google Trends trending page results. You can choose an existing Google Sheet or create one from scratch. Bardeen will also ask you to specify the maximum number of items that you would like to extract and save.
Click on “Save Input” and checkmark Google Sheets. You can edit Inputs later by hovering over the playbook.
Step 2: Run the playbook and save information from the Google Trends trending page to Google Sheets
Whenever you would like to save a Google trending page result to the Google Sheets spreadsheet that you specified, navigate to the Google Trends trending results page.
Press Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboard to launch Bardeen. Click on the playbook card and run the playbook to save the specified number of results to Google Sheets.
It will extract information like name, description, trend link, source link, searches, source, date and preview link. It will then save this information to the Google Sheets spreadsheet that you specified in Step #1
