Copy all Github issues to Notion

This playbook will copy all issues from a Github repo into a Notion database.

Time saving:

Transfer all of your issues from Github to Notion in under 1 minute.

1. Create a Notion database with matching column names

To map fields from a Github issue to the appropriate columns in Notion, we need to use a Notion database with specific column names. The easiest way to do this is to duplicate our Github issues database template.

Alternatively, you can rename column in your existing Notion database. (Issue Url, Pull Request, Repository Url, State, Created at, Updated at, Issue number, Title, Body, Repository Name, Labels, Assignees, Author)

Then, add give your bot access to a Notion database (Share).

Finally, run this command so that Bardeen can index the database:

Get access to Notion database with ID [Notion database ID]

Here is a guide with mode details on how to do this.

Step 2: Run the playbook

Click on the playbook and pick your Github repo + Notion database.

Boom! It takes under a minute to transfer your main workspace from Github to Notion.

💡 Bonus Tip: you can change the database views to kanban with our Notion template.
