Find Your LinkedIn Profile URL in 7 Steps

TL;DR

Your LinkedIn URL is the web address for your LinkedIn profile.

  • Sign in to LinkedIn.
  • Click the Me icon and select View Profile.
  • Click Edit public profile & URL on the right.
  • Under Edit your custom URL, click Edit.
  • Customize and save your new URL.
  • URLs should be unique and professional.
  • Custom URLs are first-come, first-serve.

To find or customize your LinkedIn URL, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to LinkedIn and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  3. Select View Profile from the dropdown menu.
  4. On your profile page, look for the Edit public profile & URL section on the right side and click on it.
  5. Under the Edit your custom URL section on the right, you'll see your current public profile URL. Click the Edit icon next to your URL if you wish to customize it.
  6. Type or edit the last part of your new custom URL in the text box provided.
  7. Click Save to finalize your custom URL.

Remember, your custom URL can be 3-100 characters long and should not contain spaces, symbols, special characters, or the word 'LinkedIn'. It's recommended to use a variation of your name or professional brand for easy sharing and recall. Custom URLs are case insensitive and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can change your custom URL up to five times within six months, but frequent changes may make it difficult for others to find you.
