To post content on LinkedIn, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your LinkedIn account.
  2. At the top of your LinkedIn homepage, locate the share box to begin creating your post.
  3. Click on Start a post to share a text update, or select the appropriate icon to share a photo, video, or write an article.
  4. If you want to share other types of content, click on the More icon to find post suggestions such as celebrating an occasion, sharing that you're hiring, creating a poll, adding a document, or finding an expert.
  5. After creating your content, choose the visibility for your post. You can share it publicly, with your connections, on Twitter, or with a LinkedIn Group.
  6. Once you're ready, click Post to share your update.

3. Click on Start a post to share a text update, or select the appropriate icon to share a photo, video, or write an article.

Note that LinkedIn expects members to adhere to their User Agreement and Professional Community Policies, which means refraining from dishonest or unprofessional behavior and not posting inappropriate, inaccurate, or objectionable content.

If you want to repost content from other members or LinkedIn Pages:

  1. Find the post you want to share and click Repost beneath it.
  2. You can choose to repost directly or select Repost with your thoughts to add your own comments.
  3. If adding comments, use the "@" symbol to mention people, companies, or schools.
  4. Select who can see your repost in the Post settings pop-up window and click Done.
  5. Click Post to share the repost.

To delete a repost, click the More icon on the upper-right corner of the repost and select Delete post, then confirm by clicking Delete.

For sharing a post in a private message, click Send on the lower-right corner of the post, select the recipient(s), add a message if desired, and click Send.

Remember, posts from LinkedIn Groups can't be reposted, and if the original post was set to connections only, it can't be reposted by others.
