How does this automation work?
Bardeen's automation playbook allows businesses to capture market trends by saving Amazon bestseller products to Airtable on a weekly basis. This workflow is essential for e-commerce businesses and market researchers looking to track popular products and analyze market demands over time. By automating the data extraction and storage, companies can save time and focus on leveraging the insights for strategic planning and inventory management.
Here's how this workflow automates the process of saving Amazon bestseller products to Airtable each week:
- Step 1: Schedule data extraction - Set up a recurring schedule within Bardeen to automatically trigger the scraping process of Amazon's bestseller page weekly. This step requires the URL of the Amazon page you wish to scrape.
- Step 2: Scrape Amazon bestsellers - The Scraper integration will then extract the data from Amazon's bestseller page in the background. The extracted data is prepared to be added to an Airtable base, which is specified by you.
- Step 3: Save to Airtable - Finally, the scraped data is added to an Airtable base, updating your records with the latest information on best-selling products from Amazon. Airtable acts as a powerful database to sort and manage this information for your business needs.

Let’s set it up!
Step 1: Set up an Airtable
The first step is to create an Airtable with all the information you want to save.

Bardeen will extract information from the currently opened Amazon best sellers page and get product information like name, image link, price, rating, and product link.
Step 2: Integrate Airtable and Amazon data scraper
Click the “Try it” button at the top of this page to get this Autobook saved. If it’s your first time using Bardeen, you will be redirected to install the extension.
If you haven't previously integrated Airtable, you will need to do so.
Bardeen will ask for the time to trigger the automation, the database that will contain all the product info and the link to the Amazon bestseller page. After you choose the database and time, you will get a prompt to map the information to the fields in Airtable.

The left side consists of all the fields Bardeen will scrape for you. On the right side, specify the fields in Airtable that you want to associate with the information on the left. If you don’t want a piece of information, leave that field empty, and it will be skipped. That’s it!
Step 3: Save Amazon best seller products to Airtable every week
Make sure the automation is activated (toggled on).

When the time comes, Bardeen will navigate to the bestseller page.

It will then get all the product information and save it to your database.

Yes. Since Bardeen lives on your browser, Playbooks like "Enrich Linkedin links from a Google Sheet" open the Linkedin profiles in the background and scrape their information. This happens from your currently opened Linkedin account, so people can see you've visited their profile.
