"How many tools are in your stack?"

Ask this at any tech conference and you'll get two very different reactions.

The startup VP starts counting: "Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Sales Nav, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clari, BeepAI, BoopIO..." They trail off around number 10, looking slightly confused/embarrassed.

The Fortune 100 sales exec gives you a bit of a look, and then says "Salesforce!" while clutching their trusted paper notepad.

What's the problem?

This is GTM in 2025. And it's all broken.

I spent last quarter talking to over 300 revenue leaders. Want to know the weirdest part? Both sides think they’ve got it right.

Let’s break it down.

Startups POV:

  • Reps spending 2 hours daily just tool-switching, figuring out what path is best
