How does this automation work?
Bardeen's automation playbook "Join next meeting, before it starts" is designed to help professionals manage their schedules more efficiently. With this automation, you can ensure you're always punctual for your meetings by setting the system to launch your next meeting automatically at a specified time before it begins. This is particularly useful for business professionals who have back-to-back meetings and want to reduce the overhead of keeping an eye on the clock.
Here is how the automation launches your next meeting:
- Step 1: Trigger before the next event starts - Bardeen works with Google Calendar to detect your next event. You can set how many minutes before the meeting you would like this trigger to activate, ensuring you're always prepared.
- Step 2: Find meeting link - Once the trigger is activated, Bardeen uses Meeter to find the meeting link associated with your next event on Google Calendar.
- Step 3: Join the meeting - Bardeen then automatically opens the meeting link, allowing you to join your meeting with ease.
How to run the workflow
Missing an important meeting can be stressful, especially when it could have been avoided.
With this automation, you'll never miss a meeting again!
The automation will join the meeting automatically before it starts, and it will also open all the links in the meeting description, ensuring that you're always prepared, even for meetings you may have forgotten about.
You can customize when this automation runs to suit your work style. For instance, you can set it to run one minute before meetings or ten minutes before your next meeting, giving you more time to review the links and prepare.
Let’s set it up!
Step 1: Set up the automation
Click the “Try it” button at the top of this page to get this Autobook saved.
You will be redirected to download the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate Google Calendar if you haven’t done so already.
Bardeen will then prompt you to enter when you want this Autobook to run. You can set it to run 1 minute before meetings or increase the time if you want to prepare.
Step 2: Try it!
Make sure the automation is activated (toggled on). Bardeen will automatically open the video meeting link in the meeting invite for you.
