How does this automation work?
How to run the playbook
Sometimes, you need to get a key piece of information for a list of websites you are researching. Instead of scouring an endless pile of information looking for what you need, let BardeenAI’s web agent do the heavy lifting for you.
Let’s set it up.
Step 1: Create a Google Sheet with the company links
The first step is to create a Google Sheet with all the company links that you want to extract information from.

The playbook will use BardeenAI’s web agent to scan information on each website and get the answer to your question, once the setup is complete.
Step 2: Install the extension and run the playbook
You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate Google Sheets

Activate Bardeen (or hit Option + B on Mac or ALT + B on PC on your keyboard) and click on the playbook card. The setup flow will start.
You will be asked to enter your question, your Google Sheet name and the column name that contains your website links. For our example, this would be “websites”.

Click on “Save Input” and checkmark Google Sheets and your column name. You can edit Inputs later by hovering over the playbook.

Please follow the following steps to edit an action in a Playbook or Autobook.

Yes. Since Bardeen lives on your browser, Playbooks like "Enrich Linkedin links from a Google Sheet" open the Linkedin profiles in the background and scrape their information. This happens from your currently opened Linkedin account, so people can see you've visited their profile.
For your shared playbook to be updated, you need to unshare your playbook and share it again. This will generate a new link. To do this: 1) Edit the playbook. 2) Unshare it (click on share, then the “unshare” button) 3) Share it again
Exporting data (ex: scraped data or app data) from Bardeen to Google Sheets is possible with our action to “Add Rows to Google Sheets”.
Cases like this require you to scrape the links to the sections and use the background scraper to get details from every section.
