How does this automation work?
Bardeen's automation seamlessly integrates Airtable with HubSpot to optimize your sales prospecting and enhance personal productivity. When a new deal is created in HubSpot, an all-in-one CRM platform, this playbook ensures the deal's details are captured in an Airtable base without manual data entry. Airtable's flexible database structure combined with HubSpot's deal tracking capabilities empower your sales team to focus on building relationships and closing deals.
Here's how this workflow automates data entry from HubSpot to Airtable:
- Step 1: HubSpot deal created - As soon as a new deal is registered in HubSpot, Bardeen triggers an action to capture the necessary deal information. This allows for real-time updating of your sales records.
- Step 2: Add row to Airtable - With the deal details obtained, Bardeen adds a new row to your specified Airtable base. This step ensures your database is always up-to-date with the latest sales activity.
How to run the playbook
If you are using HubSpot for your sales pipeline and Airtable for your project management, this automation will save you a lot of time by automatically creating a new row in your Airtable database when a HubSpot deal is created.
Let’s set it up!
Step 1: Set up an Airtable
The first step is to set up an Airtable for all the fields you want to capture from a HubSpot deal.
Bardeen will get deal information like deal name, ID, deal link, deal amount, close date, deal stage, and date created, and add this information to your database for every new deal once your setup is complete.
Step 2: Set up the automation
To save this Autobook, click the "Try it" button at the top of this page.
You will be redirected to install the extension, if you are using Bardeen for the first time.
If you haven't integrated HubSpot and Notion before, you will need to do so.
Bardeen will ask you to specify an Airtable. After you choose the database, you will get a prompt to map the information to the fields in Airtable.
The left side consists of all the fields Bardeen will scrape for you. On the right side, specify the fields in Airtable that you want to associate with the information on the left. If you don’t want a piece of information, leave that field empty and it will be skipped. That’s it!
Step 3: Try it!
Make sure that automation is activated (toggled on).
Whenever a new deal is created in HubSpot, it will automatically be added to your Airtable. This automation is especially useful if you want to keep HubSpot as your single source of truth, but also take advantage of Airtable’s powerful features.
To trigger the process of adding a new row to Airtable when a HubSpot deal is created, simply launch Bardeen and run the playbook.
To do this, press Option + B on a Mac or Alt + B on a Windows machine on your keyboard. This will automate the task and save you the hassle of manually adding the new row every time a deal is created.
